Plea not to sell Gurukul Trust properties

HYDERABAD: The Andhra Pradesh unit of Arya Pratinidhi Sabha on Tuesday sought a gubernatorial directive to the Government not to sell the properties of the Gurukul Ghatkeshwar Trust near Hitec City and to hand them over to the sabha instead. In a memorandum submitted to the Governor Rameshwar Thakur, Vithal Rao Arya, sabha president, said the Revenue Department was contemplating to sell trust properties and regularise them in favour of third parties, `knowingly' even though it had no such powers.
