Rain hits traffic movement

HYDERABAD: The sudden downpour threw traffic movement out of gear at several places in the city on Tuesday night. It started raining heavily around 8 p.m. and within minutes, streets surrounding KCP and Model House on Somajiguda road, Mahatma Gandhi statue in Secunderabad and Alugaddabawi were in knee-deep water. City traffic police and MCH personnel rushed to the water-logged areas and cleared the water after struggling for two hours.
