Professional students form new society

KOCHI: A group of professional students of CA, CWA, CS, CFA and ACCA formed a Society for Corporate Professional Students (SCOPE). The society will be launched at a function to be held on October 4 at Hotel Avenue Regent, said K.S. Shailendranath, chairman, and S. Sabarinath, secretary, of the organisation. The society plans to publish a journal for students, procure books and periodicals and organise seminars for students. It would also help students in obtaining placements. Corporate exhibitions will also be organised to introduce the latest trends and developments in the corporate world.
