BANGALORE: Rain God and Caramel excelled when the horses were exercised here on Wednesday morning (Sept. 27).

Inner sand:

1,400m: Democraticus (N. Babu) 1-35, (1,400-600) 48.5. Moved on the bit. Rain Splasher (N. Babu) 1-40, (1,400-600) 54. Easy.

Outer sand:

800m: All Dancing (S. Marshall) 1-0, 600/46. Moved freely. Royal Conqueror (rb), Regal Royal (rb) 59.5, 600/46. They moved together. Sandokan (Mrs. Silva) 1-1, 600/47. Rain God (Gajender), Susanita (rb) 56.5, 600/44.5. Former was five lengths behind at the start and finished a length in front. Look Alike (trainer) 1-1, 600/47. Subaggregate (rb) 1-0.5, 600/47. Graduate (rb), Rapid Response (T. Vijayan) 58, 600/44.5. They moved well. Go Go Boy (rb), Wild At Heart (Jagadeesh) 58.5, 600/45. Former finished two lengths ahead.

1,200m: Caramel (rb) 1-26, 1,000/1-11, 800/55.5, 600/43.5. Pleased.

BTC Chairman

Mr. Marilingaiah was unanimously elected Chairman and Senior Steward of the Bangalore Turf Club Ltd. for the year 2006-2007 at the committee meeting on Wednesday.

The Government of Karnataka has nominated the following on the Committee of Management for the year 2006-2007. Stewards: Principal Secretary, Finance Department, Commissioner Of Police, Bangalore City and Mr. N. Harindra Shetty. Committee Member: Mr. S. Prakash.
