ULFA-appointed group says it's in protests against Centre's decision

Guwahati: The United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA)-appointed People's Consultative Group (PCG) on Wednesday pulled out from the peace initiative in Assam in protest against the Centre's decision to call off the informal truce and resume Army operations.

"The PCG has withdrawn from parleys with the Government of India because of it [Government of India] backing out from the commitments made during the last three round of talks with us," PCG spokesman Arup Borbora told reporters at a press conference.
