Fresh trade licences must

HYDERABAD: The MCH has decided to ask commercial establishments, especially hotels and bars, to seek fresh trade licences, cancelling the current ones forthwith. All licences will henceforth be issued only after physical verification by officials.

The decision was taken in light of criticism in some quarters and also court observations that trade licences should not be renewed automatically every year without any verification.
