Travel agency offices raided, five taken into custody

HYDERABAD: The police on Wednesday arrested five persons on charge of operating manpower recruitment and travel agencies without obtaining valid license from the Central Government.

According to the Hyderabad Task Force officials, the arrested persons Arif Khan, 41, Mohd. Arif, 34, Abdullah Bin Ahmed, 39, Mohd. Nizamuddin, 32, and Kaza Najamuddin, 31, were cheating people with false promise of providing jobs abroad.

They would collect huge amounts in the name of processing the applications and paying fees to the officials of other countries from the job aspirants, the police said.

Their officeswere raided following a tip-off.
