Sri Sri Durga Puja

Committee will conduct a quiz programme at GBV Thirumana Mandapam on October 1 at 11 a.m. Prize distribution will be held on October 2. Students above 14 years can participate.

Cultural programme

The International Association of Lions Clubs will organise district-level cultural events on September 30 at the Sree Annapoorna Kalaiarangam. All the 54 clubs are expected to participate.

Special pujas

Sree Maha Pratyangira Thavapeedam will conduct special pujas for Vijayadasami on the temple premises at Singanallur on October 2.

Mupperum Vizha

"Manidha Neya Peravai" will organise Mupperum Vizha on October 2. According to a release, teachers who received the national award will be felicitated. Gandhi Jayanti and International Senior Citizen's Day will be celebrated.
