KOLKATA: Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee was admitted to a nursing home here on Thursday following chest pain and breathlessness. Her condition was stable, doctors said.

Party general secretary Mukul Roy said Ms. Banerjee was suffering from the pain since Monday, when she and her partymen were involved in a skirmish with the police .
