REMEMBERING THEIR SACRIFICE: Members of the All-India Democratic Youth Organisation offering their salute to the memorial of the freedom fighters to mark the inauguration of the birth centenary celebration of Bhagat Singh in Gulbarga city on Thursday .
GULBARGA: Vice-president of the State unit of the All-India Democratic Youth Organisation (AIDYO) B. Bhagwan Reddy on Thursday inaugurated the birth centenary celebration of freedom fighter Bhagat Singh here by offering floral tributes to the freedom fighters memorial. Mr. Reddy called upon the youth of the country to emulate the ideals of Bhagat Singh who had sacrificed his life in his immortal fight against the British rulers to protect the secular and socialistic ideals of the country.
Sacrifice
He said the present rulers had neglected the ideals for which freedom fighters such as Bhagat Singh and others sacrificed their lives and had destroying the socialistic and secular ideals of the country. The youth should fight against the moves of the Government to liberalise the economy and allow the multinational companies and private investment in all sectors.
