TSI has engaged the internationally renowned architectural firm Pei Cobb Freed & Partners LLP to design the property, a company statement said here. TSI Ventures will build one or two towers on 12 acres it has acquired in Nanakramguda Special Economic Zone in Hyderabad. The project will consist of either one or two office buildings up to 20 storeys. The project cost is expected to be in excess of U.S. $100 million. The first phase is expected to be completed in 2009.
Pantaloon retail chain
Pantaloon on Wednesday announced its latest retail format, Brand Factory, a value retail chain offering fashion brands at factory prices. The first Brand Factory store will be located in Marathahalli, a hub for factory outlets in Bangalore and the second at Abids Hyderabad. Both stores will be launched in October. Vishnu Prasad, president (South), Pantaloon, said, "Over the years, we have seen that factory outlets have become distinct shopping destinations with distinct audiences. With fashion cycles reducing, larger quantities of stocks are reaching factory outlets. But what is compromised is the brand and its image. The emphasis at Brand Factory is to offer the customer the widest range of brands at great prices in an ambience that befits the brand." The stores will offer a wide range of products including men's wear, women's wear, infant wear, accessories, cosmetics, footwear, sportswear, luggage and home linen. Arrow, Esprit, Bossini, Van Heusen, Louis Philippe Levis, Lee, Pepe Jeans, Dockers, Wrangler and ProVogue are some the brands that will be available.
Intex products
Intex Technologies (India), information technology hardware and electronics company, on Wednesday unveiled a slew of products, including three models of DVD players, MP3 and MP4 players, 19-inch TFT-LCD monitor, USB MP3 FM modulator and flash drive UFD 512 Slim. Narendra Bansal, managing director, Intex Technologies, said, "Intex has always inspired its customers to demand more from the brand. Southern India has been showing immense growth in sales targets. With the new range of products we aim to expand the existing categories and enable our buyers the choice of quality and value purchase."
