Celebrating with Radio Mirchi
With the festive season on, giving Delhiites company will be none other than the popular Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM. The station will be organising a unique Belan Dandiya on Friday at Mittal Garden exclusively for its listeners. The event will start at 8 p.m. as part of "Independence Week" celebrations. As for the rolling pins, Radio Mirchi has collected them from the women in Delhi as an expression of their "freedom''. So this Navratras the traditional dandiya sticks will be replaced by belans!
To win passes for the exclusive dandiya event, listeners will have to participate in the on-air contest that has been on since Tuesday. The participants will also get an opportunity to go live on Radio Mirchi. -- Gaurav Vivek Bhatnagar
