Tamil Nadu

CHENNAI: Rainfall occurred at a few places over Tamil Nadu and north interior Karnataka. Isolated rainfall occurred over Andhra Pradesh. Lakshadweep, coastal and south interior Karnataka. Dry weather prevailed over Kerala.

Yercaud and Ariyalur recorded heavy rainfall of 8 and 7 cm respectively.

The other chief amounts of rainfall recorded in cm are:
