Back in favour with weavers of dreams

PART OF THE GAME: Shooting of `Notebook' on at the Medical College Ground in Kozhikode.

Kozhikode is attracting filmmakers yet again in a big way. Within a month, the city has played host to the crew of three films. The first of those was Photographer, scriptwriter Ranjan Pramod's directorial debut. The unit of Photographer was still in Kozhikode when Rosshan Anddrews, arrived with a battery of new faces for his second film, Notebook. Ranjith, however, says his latest venture is a low-budget affair, despite Mammootty leading the cast. The film is being shot in the city right now.
