BELLARY: Belgaum and Bagalkot districts bagged the maximum number of awards at the zonal-level Kala Prathibhotsava held here recently. As many as 900 candidates representing nine districtsparticipated in the various cultural events in the category of Balaprathibhe, Kishore prathibhe and Yuva Prathibhe organised by the Department of Kannada and Culture. Belgaum and Bagalkot emerged victorious by winning around 12 prizes each followed by Bellary (eight), Bijapur (seven), Gulbarga (five), Bidar, Raichur and Gadag (four each) and Koppal (two).
