CHENNAI: The Vinayaka Missions Research Foundation (VMRF) deemed university announced its new two-year MBA International programme, in which students will have the option of doing the second year at the partner college in Toronto, Canada. VMRF entered into the venture with Centennial College, Toronto, in 2005. The partnership is called Vinayaka Centennial Canadian Business School. The twinning programme begins in October this year. The students may study their second year in India too, if they choose to do so. Students who opt to do a year in Canada may choose to specialise in advertising accounts management, international business management, project management, HR management, e-commerce or marketing management. They will also get a 12-week internship placement and a one-year work permit once they graduate. If the student plans to do the second year in India, then their specialisation will be in international business management. All the students will receive an MBA-International degree from VMRF and a graduate certificate from Centennial College, Canada. To qualify for the course, students should have a degree in any discipline from a recognised Indian university. They will also have to undergo an English assessment test. Candidates need not take the TOEFL, GMAT or IELTS for admission to the course. Call 28552184 for more details.
