THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Health Minister P.K. Sreemathy said on Friday that the State Women's Development Corporation wou ld introduce new schemes for pr oviding loans to women to start self-employment ventures.Chai rman of the Corporation M.K. Radha, who was with the Minister, said the assistance would be provided to all sections of women below the poverty line. They could avail of loans up to a maximum of Rs.5 lakh carrying 12 per cent interest. Besides, there would be a new `Swarnima' programme aimed at helping po or women to achieve self-reliance.
