KURNOOL: Srisailam temple netted record revenue on sale of human hair. The right to collect hair at the main temple was auctioned at Rs 1.30 crores, which was four times higher than the previous year's proceeds of Rs. 31 lakhs. The right to collect the hair at Pathalaganga spot was yet to be auctioned.
