Foundation stone laid for Kairali Towers

THIRUVANANATHAPURAM: More than dividends, it is achieving the goal of social development through the television channel that the shareholders of Kairali Television are interested in, said Chief Minister V.S. Achuthanandan here on Friday.

He was speaking after laying the foundation stone for the proposed Kairali Towers, an eight-storey building that will house the studio and function as the headquarters of the television channel. Mammootty, actor, presided over the function. Leader of the Opposition Oommen Chandy,and Pinarayi Vijayan, State secretary of the CPI(M), spoke.
