JAIPUR: The Rajasthan Government has reduced the task prevalent in the National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme by 20 per cent to ensure payment of proper wages to labourers until a scientific time and motion study on works under the scheme is completed. The reduction will be enforced from Sunday in the six districts in the State where the scheme has been implemented. It will be applicable to all works until the recommendations of the time and motion study are accepted and brought into effect. The NREGS is operational in Banswara, Dungarpur, Karauli, Jhalawar, Sirohi and Udaipur districts of Rajasthan.
