NEW DELHI: They may be selling liquor but on October 2, the birthday of Mahatma Gandhi, employees of liquor vends run by the Delhi State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (DSIIDC) will watch a film that draws heavily on the Mahatma's ideals and campaign against liquor consumption. The noon show of "Lage Raho Munna Bhai" will be watched by the DSIIDC employees at Delite cinema here. To ensure that all employees see the film, the entire hall has been booked by the DSIIDC management and the employees have been given the tickets free of charge. It helps that October 2 is a dry day. According to DSIIDC Managing Director Jalaj Shrivastava, the film should offer the employees an opportunity to remember the immortal teachings of Mahatma Gandhi in today's context.
