Review meet on gas supply

VIJAYAWADA: Joint Collector S. Suresh Kumar on Saturday advised dealers of oil companies to seek additional supply of Liquid Petroleum Gas cylinders from the companies to overcome seasonal shortage of gas. He asked them to release details of gas supply to newspapers every day.

Addressing a review meeting with dealers and representatives of oil companies here, Mr. Kumar observed that commuters were booking gas cylinders due to fear of delay in supply. He said that publication of the daily position of supply would reduce panic bookings. People could lodge complaints with officials of civil supplies over telephone. They could call the Circle I officials on phone number 99480-47346, Circle II officials (98489-18408), district civil supplies officer (98487-79806) and the Joint Collector's office (0866-2577145).
