Chennai: The Southern Railway will run the following special trains to clear the extra rush of passengers. Train No: 0610 Tiruchi-Chennai Egmore special will leave Tiruchi at 9.45 p.m. on October 2 and arrive at Chennai Egmore at 4.45 a.m. the next day. In the return direction Train No: 0609 will leave Egmore at 11 p.m. on October 3 and reach Tiruchi at 6 a.m. the next day. The trains will stop at Srirangam, Ariyalur, Vriddhachalam, Villupuram, Chengalpattu and Tambaram, Train No. 0610 will stop at Mambalam also. Special train to Coimbatore: Train No: 0623 will leave Central at 10.20 p.m. on October 2 and reach Coimbatore at 7.15 a.m. the next day. The train will stop at Arakkonam, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode and Tiruppur. Bangalore-Chennai weekend specials: Train No: 0684 will leave Bangalore at 9.30 p.m. on Fridays from 6.10.2006 to 24.11.2006 and arrive at Chennai Central at 3.55 a.m. the next day. Train No: 0683 will leave Chennai Central at 11.30 p.m. on Saturdays from 7.10.2006 to 25.11.2006 and arrive at Bangalore at 5.55 a.m. the next day. The trains will stop at Bangalore Cantt., Krishnarajapuram, Whitefield, Bangarapet, Jolarpettai, Ambur, Katpadi and Arakkonam. Train no 0684 will stop at Perambur also.
