Its other demands include houses for financially backward members of the community, financial support for students, reservation for Tamil students in higher classes, and implementation of Tamil as a subject in select educational institutions in the State.

It has also called for distribution of ration cards and identity cards to all Tamilians living in the city.

It has called for construction of a night shelter for Tamil labourers and starting bus services from the city to Thiruchantoor, Rameswaram, Sivakasi and Sankarankovil.
