EU-Indo-Italian meet on IT to be held soon

HYDERABAD: The International Institute for Applicable Mathematics and Computer Sciences is organising a EU-Indo-Italian workshop on `IT: industry, education and research' on October 3 followed by another workshop on `Personalisation and eLearning systems' on October 4 at B.M. Birla Science Centre.

According to a press release, a 10-member European delegation headed by F. Honsell, Vice-Chancellor, University of Udine, Italy, will attend the workshops. Indian participants will be B. Ramalinga Raju, Chairman, Satyam Computer Services, K. Rajagopal, VC, JNTU, and other eminent personalities in the IT industry.

There will be a summer school on `New trends in web technologies: information, filtering and virtual reality' on the JNTU campus on October 5.
