This Day That Age
(there being no issue of the paper dated October 4): The death occurred in Secunderabad on October 3 of Mr. K. Ramnoth, well-known cinematographer and film director of South India. He was 43. He had been undergoing naturecure treatment for digestive troubles. Mr. Ramnoth had to his credit a number of good pictures of high technical value. In the early days of the talkie he started his own studio, the Kartikeya Films, in Adyar, Madras. He was founder-president of the Cine Technicians Association of South India.
