New fund offer from DSP Merrill Lynch

COIMBATORE: DSP Merrill Lynch Fund Managers has launched DSP Merrill Lynch Small and Mid Cap Fund, an open-ended equity growth scheme with a portfolio comprising primarily securities of small and mid cap companies. The fund will close on October 16. The Vice President and Head of South India of DSP Merrill Lynch Fund Managers, V. Girish, says the Indian capital markets are undergoing a scale shift. The profitability of companies across sectors is increasing owing to various factors, including strong industrial growth and rising export revenues. Several companies in the small and mid cap category are yet to benefit from this structural change and the fund will identify and capitalise on such opportunities.
