CUMI's new plant in Sriperumbudur

MUMBAI: Carborundum Universal has established a new coated abrasives plant at Sriperumbudur in Tamil Nadu at a cost of about Rs. 50 crore. The plant has a capacity to produce 15 million sq. m. of coated abrasive products annually. With this facility in place, the company has enhanced its total coated abrasives manufacturing capacity from about 11 million sq. m to 26 million sq. m. annually.
