Port-of-Spain: Former captain Clive Lloyd will join the West Indies cricket team in India to share his vast experience with Brian Lara and his teammates during the ICC Champions Trophy. ``Lloyd will serve the dual purpose of being a WICB representative to explore opportunities for additional games next year as well as to make his vast experience available to the team,'' the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) President, Ken Gordon, said. ``He has agreed to make himself accessible to the captain, coach and manager to assist in any way which will build morale, strengthen the team's performance and encourage a stronger culture of professionalism and discipline,'' Gordon was quoted as saying by the Trinidad and Tobago Express on Tuesday. Lloyd, who led the West Indies to two World Cup victories, is a non-elected member of the directorate and Chairman of the Cricket Committee.
Gordon said Lloyd's vast experience would help the West
