Bad start by Indian juniors

Chennai: India made a disastrous start losing its first two matches to China and Vietnam respectively in the 13th Asian junior volleyball championship in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand.

According to the Volleyball Federation of India (VFI) Secretary General K. Murugan, here on Tuesday, China outplayed India 25-8, 25-10, 25-9, while Vietnam also trounced the Indians 27-25, 25-10, 25-18 in the first two round-robin league matches. — UNI
