Rajahmundry: Minister for Roads and Buildings J. Ramamohana Rao has said that proposals are being made for reconstruction of drinking water tank at a cost of Rs. 45 lakhs near Judge Bungalow. Reviewing development works here on Tuesday, Mr. Rao said that initially the capacity of the existing reservoir would be increased and new construction would be taken up subsequently. The Minister said the government had released Rs.10 lakhs each for all corporators for completing pending works in their wards and priority should be given for infrastructure and basic amenities. He asked officials to concentrate on health and hygiene, primary and secondary education, drinking water, drains and roads.
