KURNOOL: Mayor S. Raghurami Reddy formally received the padayatra troupe from Chennai comprising 36 volunteers of Brahmakumari Eeswariya Vidyalaya here on Tuesday. The Brahmakumaris' embarked upon Golden India Youth March on 31 routes, involving 25,000 volunteers. One such team, which started at Chennai on September 5, reached here on Tuesday. The troupe would reach Hyderabad on October 14. Organisers of local branches of Brahmakumaris' - Sister Rani, Sister Vijaya and others received the guests. The team would spend a day here before resuming their journey towards Hyderabad. Team leader Ranjana walked in the front holding an urn while others in spotless white dress followed. The volunteers were walking with the message of peace and communal harmony.
