A musical extravaganza from Canada



SISTER DUO: Nadia and Annie Labrie.

The Canadian musical duo known as "Similia" comprising twins Nadia and Annie Labrie are known to explore the flute and guitar repertoire with passion and impeccable flair. Now the Montreal-based duo is all set to share its repertoire with audiences at the Capital's Teen Murti auditorium this coming Monday.

The show has been organised jointly by the Canadian High Commission and Alliance Francaise de Delhi. On a four-city tour of the country, the duo will perform in the City of Joy on October 12, Chennai on October 15 and Mumbai in October 18.

With its alluring interpretations, the duo performs the classical repertoire and enjoys discovering new musical horizons.

Celebrated for its elegant and refined musical repertoire, Similia has received a number of prizes and accolades including the Prix Felix for Best Instrumental Album of the Year, awarded by the Quebec Recording Industry Association in 2004. The duo has released four albums "Cantabile", "Nota Del Sol", "Fantasia for Flute and Guitar" and "Dolce Vita".
