`Disciplinary action initiated against police officers'

Kochi: The Government has informed the Kerala High Court that disciplinary proceedings were initiated against police officers who were found responsible for leaking a confidential report prepared by Neera Rawat, former Kozhikode Police Commissioner, regarding the activities of National Development Front (NDF).

The Government informed the court that efforts were being made to trace the files relating to the expenditure of Rs.31.72 crore in connection with the Maithri Housing Scheme for the weaker sections.
