CITU `jatha' to be held from today

It will cover three districts before reaching Hyderabad

  • The teams will collect 50 lakh signatures

    VIJAYAWADA: A `jatha' (team) of the Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU) will begin its campaign on issues pertaining to workers of the unorganised sector in the State from here on Wednesday. It will cover three districts before reaching Hyderabad on October 19. CITU State president R. Sudha Bhaskar told a press conference that CITU national secretary K. Hemalatha would flag off the Vijayawada `jatha' at Prakash Nagar centre in Singh Nagar at 7.30 a.m.
