CHENNAI : What brought together a pilot, a professional executive and a school student? In the case of Ajay, the pilot, Venkat Ram, Madan and straight-from-school Sushmita it was Sachin Tendulkar. At the Adidas showroom in T. Nagar on Tuesday, the winners of the company's SMS campaign through Radio City stood looking pleased at how their `dream' had come true, long after the master blaster left them with autographs, smiles and shoes. Ajay, who is on vacation in Chennai, SMS-ed the answer to `Under whose captaincy did Sachin debut' question on Monday afternoon. "I got a call at 4 p.m. today. I rushed to the showroom," he said. Others also hurried there after getting the call from Radio City to catch the cricketer and discuss how he could help bring the next World Cup to India. They said the Little Master acknowledged their wishes for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy as well as the World Cup and said the team was working hard to put up a good performance. He also posed for photographs in front of Adidas' 22 yard cricket shoes display, with adoring fans looking on, and spent some minutes reading the `Get that World Cup my dear' messages scribbled by passers-by and admirers on the huge `Good Luck' card for him. At the end of it, Venkat Ram couldn't help adding "it was a dream come true."
