Best NSS officer

CHENNAI: Anna University has chosen A. Shajahan, NSS officer of B.S. Abdur Rahman Crescent Engineering College, Vandalur, as the best NSS programme officer for 2006. Mr. Shajahan was conferred the award in recognition of his service and his special contribution in spreading awareness of the ills of using tobacco. He was commended for reaching out to village schools.
