Centre for Gandhian philosophy opened

VISAKHAPTNAM: A Centre for Gandhian philosophy and human development was inaugurated at the School of Management Studies, Gayatri Vidya Parishad College for Degree and PG courses, here on Monday.

The centre has been granted by the University Grants Commission as part of its initiative to encourage centres of study on lives of personalities like Gandhi, Ambedkar and Buddha. College principal Dakshina Murthy, GVP president B. Swamy, Andhra University College of Arts and Commerce principal J.V. Prabhakara Rao, Centre for Policy Sudies Director A. Prasanna Kumar and GVP's Management College head of the department S. Rajani were also present.
