VSSC to organise painting competition

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: As part of the World Space Week celebrations, the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) will organise a painting competition for four categories of students from LKG to High School level, at St. Joseph High School, Thiruvananthapuram, on October 8.

Interested students may report at the venue. Registration starts at 8.15 a.m. There is no entry fee. Any painting medium can be used. Drawing paper will be provided at the venue. All participants will be given certificates. Prizes for the winners will be distributed at the valedictory function to be held at the VSSC on October 10. The subject for high school-level students is `Space for Saving Lives' and for upper primary school-level students is `Space for Mankind,' and for others there is no specific subject.
