IMPHAL: The North Eastern Council plans to launch various construction works in Manipur involving crores of rupees.

Most of the projects had been cleared and money sanctioned, K.R. Kyndiah, Union Minister of Development of North Eastern Region, told a press conference at Raj Bhavan on Wednesday.

The council was considering a Rs. 129-crore project to upgrade the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences.
