THE WINNER IS: Managing director of SKM Animal Feeds and Foods (India) Ltd M. Chandrasekar receiving Highest Processor Award from Union Minister of State for Food Processing Industries Subodh Kant Sahai (second from right) recently.

ERODE: SKM Animal Feeds and Foods (India) Ltd, Erode, has received the highest processor award for 2005-2006. According to a press release by the firm, Solvent Extractors'Association of India, a primary association of vegetable oil industry and trade, gives the award to the biggest exporters of oil meal, component feeds and oil every year.For 2005-06 the Association has awarded Second Highest Processor Award to SKM Animal Feeds and Foods (India) Ltd for processing 28,175 tonnes of copra (coconut oil cake). The Association organised a programme recently in Mumbai and the Union Minister of State for Food Processing Industries, Mr. Subodh Kant Sahai, presented the award to SKM Animal Feeds and Foods (India) Ltd managing director M. Chandrasekar.
