JAIPUR: The Congress party on Wednesday put the number of deaths in Rajasthan due to malaria, chikenguniya and other seasonal diseases at more than 200. The party blamed the State Government for its failure to check the spread of the diseases in the form an epidemic and also in providing timely relief to those affected. "Going by modest estimates, the death figure is not less than 200," said PCC president B.D.Kalla talking to journalists here. Asked about authentication of his claims, he said the party had asked its district units to provide the factual position on the casualties and the number of persons affected. "The details will be available in 3-4 days."
