The results: Boys (final): St. Joseph's, Pulinkunnam 56 (Ashin Xavier 28, Kevin Varghese 19) bt St. Joseph's, Thiruvananthapuram 53 (Jijo Thankachan 20, Sanil Antony 18).
Tomy, Aswin sparkle
Tomy Alexander's 75 and leg-spinner Aswin Sharma's match haul of 11 wickets helped South Zone beat Central by 117 runs in the Kerala State under-15 inter-zone cricket championship at the St. Paul's College Ground, Kalamassery, on Wednesday. The scores: South 188 & 202 in 66.1 overs (Tomy Alexander 75, Navaneeth K. Jose 27, Manu Dev five for 22) v Central 150 & 123 in 44.5 overs (Manu Dev 46, Aswin Sharma six for 22, Vishnu K. Jain three for 37).
