Mumbai: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has introduced the bowl out should scores be tied in the semifinals and final of the ICC Champions Trophy 2006 according to the playing conditions of the tournament. The bowl out will also be employed in the World Cup in the West Indies. For the first time in a one-day international, teams would also have to submit the team sheet to the ICC event coordinator one hour prior to the start of play, though a team will be allowed to change its players at any time before the toss, but in writing to the ICC event coordinator or the match referee. Further, teams will not be allowed to change a player after the toss without the consent of the rival captain.
