Ranji Trophy Super League

Mumbai : The Ranji Trophy Elite division league, re-named as Super League, would be conducted between November 23 and January 13 with the semifinals scheduled from January 23-27 and the final from February 1-5.

Duleep Trophy matches will commence on October 19 with West Zone taking on South at Indore and East meeting Central at Gwalior.

The final will be held at Kolkata from November 12-16.

The groupings:

Super League (Elite division):

Group A: U.P., Baroda, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Delhi, Andhra, Haryana and Saurashtra

Group B: Bengal, Mumbai, Punjab, Hyderabad, Gujarat, Rajasthan and Maharashtra.

Plate division league: Group A: Railways, M.P., Vidarbha, Kerala, Assam and Goa. Group B: Orissa, Jharkhand-Bihar, Himachal, Services, Tripura and Jammu and Kashmir.

Duleep Trophy: League phase: Oct. 19-22: West v South, Indore; East v Central, Gwalior. Oct. 27-30: West v Sri Lanka `A', Cuttack; Central v North, Jamshedpur. Nov 4-7: SL `A' v South, Kolkata; East v North, Guwahati. Final: Nov 12-16: Kolkata

Ranji Trophy: Super League (Elite) division: First round: Nov 23-26. Second round: Dec 1-4. Third round: Dec 9-12. Fourth round: Dec 17-20. Fifth round: Dec 25-28. Sixth round: Jan 2-6, 2007. Seventh round: Jan 10-13.
