NEW DELHI: Loseling LSS, Thimpu entered the last eight of the Subroto Cup U-14 football tournament by blanking Namchi Sports Hostel (Sikkim) 6-0 in a Group VI league match at the Ambedkar Stadium on Wednesday. Tshering Wangchi (2), Tandiu Wangchuk, Kinley Wangchuk, Tshering Wangchuk and Teshing Dengup were the scorers. In Group VIII, Bisal Rai struck twice to set up a 4-0 victory for Allied Co-Education School, Kathmandu over Sepon High School (Assam). Sujal Shrestha and Suman Khadka were the other scorers. In another match in the same group, Shri Kamlakar Choubey Adrash Seva Vidyalaya, Varanasi (UP) defeated Guru Govind Singh Khalsa School, Jabalpur (MP) 6-2. Vivek Kumar Yadav (3), Mohammad Shamsher Khan, Trilok Kumar Patel and Mohammad Haseen Khan struck for the Varanasi team. Rohit Rajak and Nitin Yadav netted for the Jabalpur school.
