THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Engineering aspirants can submit additional course/ college options for four more colleges from 5 p.m. tomorrow on the web site cee.kerala.gov.in, a press note issued here by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations said. Options can now be submitted for the civil engineering branch at the Amal Jyothi College of Engineering, Kottayam (AJC); for mechanical engineering at the Yoonus College of Engineering and Technology, Kollam (YCE); for Electrical engineering at the Baselios Mathews II College of Engineering, Sasthamcotta (BMC); and for mechanical engineering and civil engineering at the Toc-H Institute of Science and Technology, Ernakulam (TOC). For all these courses, there are 60 seats. The CEE would carry out allotment to 50 per cent of seats in each college as per the provisions of the 2004 Act. The fee would be Rs. 38,700, the press note said. Options can be submitted till October 13. Students in the State merit category can submit options for electronics and communication (EC), computer science (CS), electrical and electronics (EE), information technology (IT) and for polymer engineering (PO) at the University College of Engineering (UCE) under the M.G. University, till October 13. This facility is being given in view of the fact that the fee for all seats in this college has been fixed at Rs. 6,200. Candidates in the SEBC, EB, SC/ST categories need not submit options again for this college.
