Painter murdered in D.J. Halli, four arrested

BANGALORE: A 37-year-old painter was murdered allegedly by his lover and three others in D.J. Halli police station limits on Tuesday night.

The victim, Prabhu, was in love with Shabana (27), who was married and had three children. Prabhu was not happy with Shabana's alleged relationship with Irfan and insisted upon her to leave the latter.

Shabana, the police said, informed Irfan about this. Irked by Prabhu's behaviour, Irfan came with two of his friends to Prabhu's house. All the three and Shabana allegedly stabbed Prabhu, the police said. The police have arrested the accused.

Accident

Shankar (30) was killed after his motorcycle was hit by a lorry on Jalahalli Ring Road on Tuesday night. The Yeshwanthpur police have arrested the driver of the lorry.
