Tests done on his son-in-law also in AIIMS

NEW DELHI:
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's two grandsons were on Wednesday admitted to the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) here with dengue. His son-in-law has also been admitted there with dengue-like symptoms.
However, there was no official confirmation from either the Prime Minister's Office or the AIIMS administration. Security at the Institute has been stepped up.
Sources said Madhav and Rohan were brought to the hospital early in the morning and tests conducted on the children confirmed the disease. A report was awaited on the tests done on Dr. Singh's son-in-law, Ashok Patnaik, an IPS officer.
Union Health Minister Anbumani Ramadoss said high construction activities in the National Capital Territory region and the AIIMS resulted in the high dengue incidence.
