Kamal Hassan to present awards

KOCHI: Film actor Kamal Hassan was in town on Friday. He will present awards to the winners of the Quit and Win International Smoking Cessation contest organised by Anti-Tobacco Movement at Amrita (ATMA) and the World Health Organisation on Friday. The ceremony will be held at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences' Amriteswari Hall at 3 p.m.

There is a regional prize worth Rs.1 lakh (which has been won by a lawyer from Ambalappuzha) and four local awards of Rs. 25,000 each.
